Door Installation In Bronx, NY
A Project Manager Oversees The Install, The Number Stays As Quoted, And The Labor Is Covered For Life
A new door only performs as well as it does on the day it’s installed. If the opening is off by a fraction, the door drags, drafts sneak in, and the lock never sits right. That’s why door installation in Bronx, NY starts with careful measuring, not guessing.
Window King measures your existing opening, sets the door plumb and square, and tests every seal before we call it done.
We install entry doors, storm doors, patio doors, and security doors from a short list of vetted brands like ProVia. Our crew is certified and factory-trained, and a project manager watches the whole job. You get straight talk, a clean install, and a price we honor.
We’re based right here in the borough, and we’ve installed doors across the borough for over 30 years.
Door Installation In Bronx, NY: What Goes In Matters As Much As What Comes Out
Choosing The Right Door Type, Material, And Fit For Your Home’s Front Line
A door that doesn’t seal properly costs you money every month. Drafts along the frame, a threshold that’s never sat flush, a slab that swells in summer and gaps in winter. These aren’t cosmetic problems. They’re daily energy losses that add up quietly.
Door installation in Bronx, NY involves more than swapping out a slab. The rough opening, the framing condition, the threshold, the weatherstripping: every layer has to be right before the door itself can perform the way it should.
Our project managers walk through the entry with you before anything is measured or ordered. They explain how each door type differs and where each material performs best. They also walk you through the installation process, with no pressure and no jargon.
We carry front doors, storm doors, patio doors, and security doors from ProVia and Homeguard. Both manufacturers were chosen specifically because they hold up in demanding Tri-State climates and back their products with manufacturer warranties.
Door Installation In Bronx, NY
Our door installation specialists handle every step: measurement, permitting, and the installation itself. Nothing gets handed off or subcontracted.
ProVia and Homeguard doors are built for performance, not just appearance. Both manufacturers engineer for tight tolerances, durable hardware, and long-term weatherproofing.
Every Bronx County door installation we complete carries our lifetime labor guarantee. Our workmanship is warranted, and we return promptly if anything needs attention.
Our crew cleans up fully when the job is done. You get a properly hung door, a sealed threshold, and nothing left behind on the floor or stoop.
Why Bronx, NY Door Installation Calls For A Different Standard
Rooted In Bronx Borough, Built On Referrals And Straight Talk
A door that doesn’t seal flush lets cold air trace along the frame all winter. That’s the kind of problem a rushed installation leaves behind, and it shows up in your utility bill before you ever notice the gap.
That’s why every door installation job we take starts with a proper measurement of the rough opening, not an assumption that the old frame is square. Local rowhouses and co-op entryways rarely are.
Because nearly half our work comes through neighbor referrals, we can’t afford to cut corners and move on. The next homeowner calling us probably lives two buildings away.
- Our Story And Why It Matters – This company started in the Bronx in the 1990s when our grandmother walked away from an exploitative employer and built something honest from scratch.
- Specialists, Not Sales Reps – Our installers are door and window specialists. Understanding what separates a skilled installer from a generalist matters when the person fitting your front door is the same one accountable for the finished product and the cleanup.
- Doors And Windows Chosen For Real Conditions – ProVia and Homeguard are the door lines we carry because they hold up in the humidity swings and temperature extremes this region delivers.
- Education Over Persuasion – Our project managers come to your home as advisors. They walk the entry, explain the tradeoffs between door types and frame conditions, and give you the information you need to decide. No stack of paperwork, no pressure to sign the same day.
That combination of Bronx, NY door installation experience and straight-talking service is what keeps referrals coming back.
